A very brave Chinese spy defected to Australia. His shocking revelations are guaranteed to infuriate Beijing and stagger the rest of us. He describes how China conducts questionable activities around the world, including its attempts to infiltrate the Australian government. The reason I’m sharing this is it makes the rest of this article look legitimate and not part of some crazy conspiracy theory.
American scientist feeds research to China
Meanwhile in the USA, Professor Charles Lieber, a US citizen, was arrested for misleading federal authorities about funds he allegedly received from Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) and his connections to a Chinese government-sponsored recruitment program.
Lieber was accused of lying to U.S. authorities about his participation in the Chinese government-run “Thousand Talents Plan,” which pays elite global researchers to conduct research in Chinese laboratories, according to the Times Leader Online.
The criminal complaint filed by the Department of Justice alleges the Chinese government paid Dr. Lieber, as a Thousands Talents member, up to $50,000 a month in salary, $150,000 annually for living expenses and more than $1.5 million to run a shadow lab in China. In return, Lieber appears to have agreed to share cutting-edge, U.S. taxpayer-funded research with Wuhan University of Technology, which is part of the Chinese government’s national university system.
Lieber was double-dipping. Not only did he take U.S. government funding to conduct research for the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health he was also taking Chinese money. By law, he is required to disclose foreign financial conflicts of interest when working with US institutions. Whether he was just greedy or a traitor is yet to be revealed.
Dr Charles Lieber, head of the chemistry and biology department at Harvard University was arrested for being paid $50,000/month by communist China and over 1.5 million for opening up a lab in Wuhan, China. Meanwhile on FOX News, Tucker Carlson cites a report from South China University that claims, “The virus most likely came from an animal known as the intermediate horseshoe bat,” Carlson said, noting, “there are no known colonies” of this type of bat “within 900 kilometers of Wuhan,” the city from where the virus is said to have originated.
He added that there is also no evidence that the bats were sold in the Wuhan wet market, “despite many claims made by the American media.”
The South China University scientists concluded that the coronavirus pandemic “likely came” from one of two government labs in Wuhan, the Fox News host continued.
“They noticed that a scientist at the Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention had been exposed to the blood and urine of horseshoe bats. They also suggested that infected tissue samples from research animals may have wound up in the Wuhan wet market,” Carlson said, reading a portion of the report which stated:
“The killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan. Safety levels may need to be reinforced in high-risk bio-hazardous laboratories and regulations may be taken to relocate these laboratories far away from city centers and other densely populated places.”
“How is that for interesting?” Carlson asked viewers, also acknowledging that anything from China is suspect and viewers should make their own minds up about the information. Watch the clip below.
